The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ February 15, 1995, p. 2 Evelyn C. Cressey of Wickenburg died February 7 in Wickenburg. She was 83. Mrs. Cressey was born May 12, 1911 in San Francisco, California. She had lived in Arizona for the past 38 years, coming from California. Mrs. Cressey enjoyed knitting and sewing and was an avid reader. Survivors include her husband of 40 years, James T. Cressey of Wickenburg; son Letcher E. White of California; sisters Myrtl Roark of San Francisco and Loraine Justic of San Mateo, California; and grandchildren Chrisoph and Thomas Matthew Roark, both of San Francisco. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Cressey’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wickenburg was in charge of all arrangements.
