George H. Clubine of Congress died February 18 in Wickenburg. He was 71.
Mr. Clubine was born August 3, 1923 in Meeker, Colorado. He had lived in Arizona for the past two years coming here from Colorado.
Mr. Clubine was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities, including fishing and hunting. His grandfather, Henry A. Wildhack was an early resident of Meeker, Colorado settling there in 1887.
Mr. Clubine is survived by four cousins, Jean Wederquist of Niwot, Colorado; Thomas and Robert Grinstead, both of Denver, and Katherine Geiger of Aurora, Colorado.
Visitation will be today, (Wednesday, February 22) from 3-5 p.m. at Frey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 25 at the W.C. Zobel Funeral Home in Meeker, Colorado.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wickenburg was in charge of all arrangements.
