The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 1, 1995, p. 2 J. Lloyd Brodie of Wickenburg died February 26 in the Wickenburg Nursing Home. He was 88. Mr. Brodie was born June 26, 1906 in Leadwood, Missouri. He had lived in Arizona for the past 26 years. Mr. Brodie was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg. He was an elder in the church and taught adult Bible classes. He was a U.S. Army veteran, and retired as a major in the transportation corps. Survivors include nephew and niece in-law Lee and Toni Markovitch of Wickenburg; sister Daisy Hart of Michigan; and several other nieces and nephews. Mr. Brodie was preceded in death by his wife Edna Genevive Brodie in 1992. Funeral services for Mr. Brodie will be held at 10a.m. Friday (March 3) at the First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg. Pastor Jim Longstreet will officiate. Burial will follow in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wickenburg Nursing Home. All arrangements were handled by Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home.
