Harold R. Ross of Aguila died February 24 in Aguila. He was 76.
Mr. Ross was born July 20, 1918 in Columbus, Ohio. He had lived in Arizona for the past 40 years, coming from Ohio.
Mr. Ross was a U. S. Army veteran.
Mr. Ross worked as a bricklayer across Arizona for most of his life. He liked all types of sports and enjoyed playing golf. Mr. Ross played baseball in the minor leagues with the St. Louis Cardinals. He enjoyed traveling to Laughlin.
Survivors include his wife Virginia of Aguila; daughters Leslie Ross of Buckeye Lake, Ohio and Tottie Rodgers of Columbus, Ohio; sons Jack Ross and Harold Ross Jr., both of Columbus; step-son Leon Powell of Wickenburg; sisters Holly of Columbus, Dorothy Wray of Grove City, Pennsylvania, Grace of Germany, and Louise of Columbus; and brother Dale Ross of Columbus.
Private family services will be held.

Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wickenburg was in charge of all arrangements.
