The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 8, 1995, p. 3 Fred R. Williams of Sun City died March 3 in Sun City. He was 73. Mr. Williams was born November 2, 1921 in Rochester, Minnesota. He has lived in Arizona for the past 20 years, coming here from Minnesota. Mr. Williams worked most of his life as a medical technician at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps. Survivors include two brothers, Robert Williams of Wickenburg and James Williams of Crown Point; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ruth, in 1988. Private family services and interment will take place at Sunland Memorial Park and Mortuary, Sun City. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service was in charge of all arrangements.
