OSMONDSON, Otto (Bud)

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 29, 1995, p. 2 Otto “Bud” Osmondson of Yarnell died March 21 at his home in Yarnell. He was 65. Mr. Osmondson was born February 24, 1930 in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He had lived in Arizona for the past eight years, moving to Yarnell from New Bern, North Carolina in 1987. Mr. Osmondson was a 2-year retired U.S. Navy veteran, working in aeronautical engineering. He held a master’s degree in engineering from St. Louis University. Mr. Osmondson also served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was a veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his son, Otto B. Osmondson III of Lake Worth, Florida; and his daughter Vyke B. Osmondson of West Palm Beach, Florida. Memorial services were March 27 at American Legion Post No. 79 in Yarnell. Private cremation was conducted. Arrangements were by Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home in Prescott.
