Our loving husband, father and grandfather, David Paul Jacobs, passed away at home Feb. 24, 2011. He was born Dec. 1, 1943, in Detroit, Mich., to Arthur Daniel and Rasta Lee Davidson Jacobs.
David married the love of his life, Joan L. Jacobs, July 16, 1966, in Oxford, Mich. They have two sons, David P. Jacobs and Robert J. Jacobs. They have five grandchildren, David P. Jacobs, Dylan M. Jacobs, Christian A. Jacobs, Ethan A. Jacobs and Ashley McNab. They have two great-grandchildren.
David and Joan moved to Lake Havasu City in August 1990, and then moved to Sandy, Utah, in 2008 due to David's long courageous fight with Prostate Cancer.
He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his three sisters, Louella, Chris and Edie; and one brother, John; and many friends and relatives.
David attended the Michigan School for the Deaf. He loved cars, sports and washing the cars. He will be missed by all.
