Erma Johnston, a former resident of Wenden, died February 20 in Eldora, Iowa.  She was 85.  Mrs. Johnson was born August 16, 1909.

She was a resident of the Valley View Nursing Home in Eldora at the time of her death.

Mrs. Johnston is survived by her daughter, Linda McCoy of Eldora, Iowa and two grandchildren.
