Dean S. Staley, 80, of Mesa, a retired woodworker, died March 19, 1999.  He was born in Aurora, Ill., and was a World War II Army veteran.  Survivors ;his wife, Frances; daughter, Jane Urich; son, Michael; stepson Stanley Pederson; sister, Ruth Murphy; and five granchildren.  Services: 1 p.m. Monday, Chapel of Prayer, 108 N. 50th St., Mesa.  Contributions:  Alzheimers Association, 1028 E. McDowell Road, Phoenix, Az 85006.
