The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ April 12, 1995, p. 3 Jean Evelyn Murray of Sun City West died April 2. She was 79. Ms. Murray was born September 14, 1915 in Wolbach, Nebraska. She had lived in Arizona for the past eight years. Ms. Murray left Nebraska early in her life, settling in California, where she worked for the Blue Shield Insurance Co. as a secretary in the claims department. She retired from the company and eight years ago moved to Sun City West. Ms. Murray was involved as a volunteer worker for the Inner Faith Services, a local organization helping local senior citizens with meals and counseling services. Survivors include sisters Elizabeth Anne Kranke and Ruth Kaufman of California; nephew Russell Kaufman; and niece Ann Billings of Wickenburg. Memorial services were held April 6 at Menke Funeral Home in Sun City. Pastor Ed Wessling of Redeemer Lutheran Church of Wickenburg officiated. Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home was in charge of all local arrangements.
