The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ April 19, 1995, p. 2 Dottie Danielson of Rapid City, South Dakota, died April 7 in Rapid City. She was 93. Mrs. Danielson was born October 2, 1901 in Aledo, Texas. She was the daughter of William and Ollie (Pryor) Richards, and grew up in Prescott and Wickenburg. Her family owned and operated general stores on both areas. Mrs. Danielson was a graduate of Pomona College in Pomona, California. She married her husband in 1920, and the couple resided in Mason City, Iowa, Wickenburg and Minneapolis before retiring in Phoenix. During her lifetime, Mrs. Danielson was employed by the Cream of Wheat Co. in Minneapolis and also with Turf Paradise in Phoenix. She was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include grandchildren Steve Pugsley of Pickney, Minnesota; Craig Pugsley of Hermosa, South Dakota; Dottie Pugsley of Rapid City, South Dakota; Jerry Danielson of Phoenix Diane Olsen of Graceville, South Carolina and Tom Danielson of Tacoma, Washington; 13 great-grandchildren; and one niece. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Danielson; daughter Grace (Danielson) Pugsley; son Jerry (Dick) Danielson; and also by three brothers and two sisters. Services were held April 15 at Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home chapel. Pastor Mike Abdollazadeh officiated. Burial followed in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
