The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 10, 1995, p. 2 Ted H. Smith of Wickenburg, died May 4 in Sun City. He was 85. Mr. Smith was born August 11, 1909 in Luther, Michigan. He had lived in Arizona for the past 25 years. Mr. Smith was a member of the Desert Caballeros, Rancho de lo Caballeros Country Club, and the Wickenburg Country Club. He was a life member of the Elks Lodge in Midland, Michigan and a past president of the Wickenburg Country Club. Survivors include his wife, Lillian, of Wickenburg; two daughters, Patricia A. Nelson and Linda L. Johnson; a sister, Marjorie Steelhoff of Midland, Michigan; a brother, Roy Wolverton of Reed City, Michigan; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Private cremation was conducted. Memorial contributions in Mr. Smith’s name may be made to Sun Health Hospice, 13101 N. 1903rd Ave., P.O. Box 1913, Sun City, AZ 85372. Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
