The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 10, 1995, p. 2 Richard Hershkowitz, Jr. of Wickenburg, died May 4 in Wickenburg. He was 41. Mr. Hershkowitz was born December 9, 1953 in Oakland, California. He had lived in Wickenburg for most of his life. Mr. Hershkowtiz was a member of Wickenburg Elks Lodge No. 2160, and the Wickenburg Volunteer Fire Department. He was a graduate of Wickenburg High School and during high school was a member of the Wrangler football team. Survivors include three sons, Richard Aaron, George, and Bill Ray, all of Wickenburg; his parents, Richard and Shirley Hershkowitz of Wickenburg; brothers and sister-in-law Bill and Pam Hershkowitz, and Dobie and Sally Hershkowitz; grandmother Sarah Hershkowitz; uncles George Hershkowitz, Bill Hoffman, Larry Fields and Mac Dowdy; aunts Joyce Fields, Shirley Wachter and Dolores Hershkowitz; several cousins; and four nephews. Services were Monday, May 8 at Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home chapel. Pastor Robert Goldenberg officiated. Burial was in the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
