Cecil Dewayne Beth of Wickenburg died May 18 in Wickenburg. He was 66. Mr. Beth was born February 14, 1929 in Fort Scott, Kansas. He had lived in Arizona for the past 40 years, coming here from Nevada.
Mr. Beth was a hard rock miner in Nevada and Arizona. He had a fondness for trading and collecting firearms. He also enjoyed going out in the desert with his metal detectors.
Survivors include his daughter, Helen; a brother, Carl Beth of Elko, Nevada; and sisters Shirley Beth of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, June Watson of Truth or Consequences, and Marlene Beth of Lawrence, Kansas.
There will be no services, but at Mr. Beth’s request his cremated remains will be scattered by air over Rich Hill near Stanton.
