The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 24, 1995, p. 3 James E. Rowe of Congress, died May 17 in Wickenburg. He was 76. Mr. Rowe was born May 10, 1919 in Arnold, Kansas. He had lived in Arizona for the past 19 years, coming from Colorado. Mr. Rowe was a heavy equipment operator, rancher, and U.S. Marshall in several towns in Colorado. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II and was a member of American Legion Post No. 79 in Yarnell. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. Mr. Rowe and his wife, Leta, who survives him, enjoyed fishing together. In addition to his wife of 15 years, Mr. Rowe is survived by three daughters, Louise Hodson of Eureka, Nevada, Mary Dasher of Pueblo, Colorado and Ruth Olson of Santa Fe Springs, California; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Private services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wickenburg was in charge of all arrangements.
