SHANAHAN, Louise Catherine

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 24, 1995, p. 3 Louise Catherine Shanahan of Wickenburg died May 19 in Wickenburg. She was 89. Mrs. Shanahan was born November 4, 1905 in Wayne, Nebraska. She had lived in Arizona for the past 34 years. Mrs. Shanahan was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Wickenburg and had been a resident of the Wickenburg Nursing Home for the past five years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, in 1983, and a daughter, Jane in 1951. Survivors include four sons, Jerome Shanahan of Auburn, California, Leo Shanahan of Kirkland, James Shanahan of Stockton, Colorado and Patrick Shanahan of Milwaukee, Oregon; a brother, Joe Eich of Shalton, Oregon; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, May 26 at St. Anthony’s Catholic church. Fr. Mathew Mampara will officiate. Burial will be at the Resthaven Cemetery in Glendale. Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
