Navor Tito “Mike” Trujillo of Wickenburg, died May 21 in Wickenburg. He was 82. Mr. Trujillo was born April 19, 1913 in Sagauche, Colorado. He had lived in Arizona for the past 24 years, coming from Colorado.
Mr. Trujillo was a carpenter by trade and a custom homebuilder in Arizona and Colorado. His family remembers him as enjoying life and fishing and gardening. He loved children and animals. Mr. Trujillo was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Colorado.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Cornelia Trujillo of Wickenburg; daughters Sylvia Allen and Margaret Eddy, both of Montrose, Colorado and Shirley Schulte of Phoenix; sons Richard Trujillo of Wilhoit, Fred Trujillo of Tucson and Dan Trujillo of La Cresenta, California; sister Rose Rickstad of Grand Junction, Colorado; brothers Steve and Charles Trujillo, both of Grand Junction; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 24 at Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wickenburg. Funeral services will be Friday, May 26 at the Crippin Funeral Home in Montrose, Colorado. Burial will follow in the Cedar Creek Cemetery in Montrose.
Contributions may be made in Mr. Trujillo’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service was in charge of all arrangements.
