Marian L. Anderson of Morristown died May 23 in Sun City West. She was 70. Mrs. Anderson was born May 15, 1925 in Grandville, Michigan. She had lived in Arizona for the past 17 years, coming here from Michigan.
Mrs. Anderson worked as a medical assistant in Denver, and also as a nurse’s aide in Denver, Michigan and California. She loved poetry and music. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg.
Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Clarence Anderson of Morristown; daughter and son- in-law D. Danice and Chris Waechter of Kansas City, Missouri; sons and daughters-in-law Dan L. and Candice F. Manzanares, Psy. D., of Denver, Joe C. and Cindy K. Manzanares of Denver, Eric W. and Lin Stephens of New Jersey; son Stephen C. Manzanares of Aberdeen, Washington; sisters Merlyn VanderWal of Wyoming, Michigan and Alyce Cherry of Grand Rapids, Michigan; brothers and sisters-in-law Ward and Mary Ann Stoel and Willard and Virginia Stoel, both of Grand Rapids; 16 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Services were Tuesday, May 30 at the First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg. Pastor Jim Longstreet officiated.
