Margaret M. Siers of Congress died June 19 in Wickenburg. She was 81. Mrs. Siers was born August 19, 1913 in York, Pennsylvania. She had lived in Arizona for the past three years, coming from Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Siers was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Clarence. She and her husband owned and operated the Siers-Mobil Service Station in Pennsylvania for 30 years.
Mrs. Siers was called “Nana” by all who knew her, for the kind words she spoke and the love she showed to everyone.
Survivors include daughters Margaret Harper of Congress and Nancy Siers of York, Pennsylvania; grandchildren Bambi Staley of York, Guy Hess III of Lewisberry, Pennsylvania, Clarence Hess of Dover, Pennyslvania, Tammy Slaven of Congress, Angie Crabtree of Ellsworth, Maine, Lesa Jones of Chino Valley, and Sarah Fink of Congress; 15 great-grandchildren; nieces Dorothy Riddle of Congress and Frances Overdorff of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; and nephew John Klahold of Redline, Pennsylvania.
Services will be held at a later date at Manchester Union Cemetery in York, Pennsylvania.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wickenburg was in charge of all local arrangements.
