The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ July 5, 1995, p. 2 Ethel V. Long of Wickenburg died June 30 in Phoenix. She was 87. She was born July 24, 1907 in Kingman, Kansas. She had lived in Arizona for 16 years. Mrs. Long was a loving wife, sister and friend, and will be greatly missed by all who know her. She was a member of the Christian Church in Kingman, Kansas. She is survived by brothers-in-law Claude E. Long of Wickenburg and Kenneth Long of Wichita, Kansas; sisters in-in-law Jessie Bennington of St. John, Kansas, Helen McCollough of Powell, Wyoming, and Mabel Payne of Wellington, Kansas; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Long, 16 years ago. Services will be held in Kingman, Kansas with interment at Walnut Hill Cemetery, also in Kingman. Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home handled all the arrangements.
