LYMAN, Lewis Edward


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, March 18, 2011 Lewis Edward Lyman died peacefully on March 15, 2011. He was born in 1929 in Wichita, Kan. where he spent his childhood. He received his Architectural Degree from Kansas State University and was an architect in Garden City, Kan. for 28 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Wanda; a son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Rhea Lyman; a daughter and son-in-law, Tricia and Jim Faith; four grandchildren, all of Wichita; a sister, Rita Jamison, of Oklahoma City; and numerous nieces and nephews on both sides of the family. Lew and Wanda moved to Prescott in 1986. He enjoyed golf and traveling, was a lover of art and was a talented wood carver. He was devoted to his church and was active on both the local and diocesan levels throughout his adult life. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 21, 2011 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 2000 Shepherd's Lane (Highway 89 and Ruger Road). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Outreach Commission. Information provided by survivors.
