KNIGHT, Sean Richard


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ March 20, 2011 Sean Richard Knight, 42, of Taylor died suddenly Monday, March 14, 2011, at his home. Sean was employed as fixed asset manager at Show Low Ford. Sean was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. When his father returned from the war in Vietnam, at the age of 1, they moved to Arizona. Sean was loved by all that knew him including his family, employees, customers, and fellow church members. He married Sandra Lea Bennett of Mesa on Sept. 18, 1987 and they have five loving children: Levi Richard Knight (Kirsten), Christian Sean Knight, Halie Marie Knight, Tanis Lea Knight, and Jessie Lynn Knight. Sean also is survived by his parents, Lyle R. and Toril Knight of Billings, Mont. He leaves four siblings, Melanie Engen (Erik), Jason L. Knight (Jennifer), Kristine L. Berger (Ronn), and Rochelle Price (Barry). Sean graduated from Mesa High School in 1987, and completed his course work at the University Of Utah in 1994. He enjoyed a long career in the automotive service industry, logging in 16 years of employment. Sean received his Eagle Scout at the age of 13 and subsequently earned three Eagle Palms. He lived the scout oath and law throughout his life and was well known as the first to volunteer when anyone needed help, and quick to entertain with a humorous story or event. Sean loved the outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, or just riding his four-wheeler. At the time of his death hewas serving as the Elders Quorum President in the Taylor 4th Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day- Saints. Sean will be eternally remembered as an extraordinary husband, father, brother, and son. He is and will be greatly missed.
