Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Published Monday, March 21, 2011 - Beatrice Ann Glennie, 78, passed away March 18, 2011 in Lake Havasu City. She was born Oct. 12, 1932, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Russell and Sarah (Manning) Bartlett. Beatrice moved to Lake Havasu City 10 years ago from Saugus, Calif. When her husband, Ron, was alive, they belonged to the Eagles and Elks Clubs. She particularly loved children and her grandkids especially. Occasionally she attended Calvary Baptist Church with her daughter, Mary, who is a member. Beatrice is survived by her loving family, sons, Victor Barrie and Michael Berrie; daughter, Mary Varjabedian; brothers, Russell Bartlett Jr., and Tom Bartlett; sister, Sally Musacchia; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Her parents; spouse, Ron Glennie; brothers, Michael, Danny and George Bartlett; and her dog and best friend, Columbo, preceded her in death. Visitation will be today at Lietz-Fraze Chapel from 11 a.m. to noon. Funeral services will be immediately following at noon with Pastor Chet Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.
