Edna Doggett of Yarnell died July 15 in Yarnell. She was 74. Mrs. Doggett was born June 12, 1921 in Arpler, Oklahoma. She had lived in Arizona for seven years, coming here from Oregon.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mrs. Doggett was also the Past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star, serving from 1967-1968 in Redmond, Oregon.
Mrs. Doggett was a homemaker and worked in restaurants for 17years.
During World War II she worked in an ammunition depot for the Navy in McCallister, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Wayne, of Yarnell; two step-daughters, Beverly Lands of Winston, Oregon and Dorothy Winston of Reeds Port, Oregon; one step-son, Gordon Doggett of Crooked River Ranch, Oregon; two sisters, Jewel Mae Mooney of Rufus, Oregon and Gladys Constant of Washington; two brothers, Lloyd Moore of Primeville, Oregon and Ray Moore of Tyhe Valley, Oregon; six step-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today (Wednesday, July 19) from 6 to 8 pm. at Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Services and interment will be held in Redmond Memorial Cemetery in Redmond, Oregon.
