Frank Albert Norvell of Morristown died July 21 at his home. He was 78. Mr. Norvell was born August 5, 1916 in Denver, Colorado. He lived in Arizona for 35 years.
Mr. Norvell was an Army veteran of World War II and was discharged as a staff sergeant. While in the Army, he flew with the paratroopers and fought behind enemy lines in Germany.
He was a retired hard rock miner, working mines in Telluride, Colorado, Grants, New Mexico and 20 years in Bagdad. Mr. Norvell was also a member of the Morristown Water Board.
He is survived by his wife, Irene of Morristown; daughter Nedra Montgomery of Kingman; sons Theodore of Martinez Lake, Don of Goliad, Texas, and Lloyd of Sahurita; 18 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Frank Jr., in 1968 due to an automobile accident.
Services were held July 24 at Brown’s Wickenburg funeral Home chapel. Pastor Robert Goldenberg officiated.
