PREWITT, Earl Willis


The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ August 2, 1995, p.2 Earl Willis Prewitt of Wickenburg died July 28 in Wickenburg. He was 75. Mr. Prewitt was born October 10, 1919 in Blackfoot, Idaho. He lived in Arizona for six years, coming here from Utah. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, stationed in the Aleutian Islands. During Mr. Prewitt’s employment as a plasterer, he was one of two people to plaster the Federal Building in Los Angeles. He was a member of the Lions Club in Wickenburg and Covina Lodge No. 334 of California. Mr. Prewitt traveled to California often and loved to fish. Locksmithing was his hobby. He is survived by his wife, Tomiline, of Wickenburg; daughters Jeanette S. Barnett of Covina, California; sons Jerry A. of Palmdale, California and Jay S. of Mesa; step-daughter Susan D. Carroll of Whittier, California; sister Ida Mae Phillips of Escondido, California; bother Vern of Redwood Valley, California; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Private family services will be held. Contributions may be made in Mr. Prewitt’s name to California Masonic Grand Lodge, Masonic Homes of California, 1111 California St., San Francisco, California 94108. Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service was in charge of all local arrangements.
