The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ August 23, 1995, p. 2 Helen Miljush of Omaha, Nebraska and formerly of Wickenburg died August 9 in Moline, Nebraska. She was 95. Mrs. Miljush was born August 7, 1900 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada to John and Anatasia Comer. She married Joseph M. Miljush November 3, 1916 in Chicago. He died in 1945. Mrs. Miljush was a member of the Kingdom Hall, Jehovah’s Witness in Wickenburg and was the oldest member of the St. Nicholas Serbian Lodge No 141 in Omaha, Nebraska. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Dorothy Pokrajac of Moline, Nebraska, Mary Taggart of Wickenburg, Helen and William Kushlakus of Moline, Nebraska and Mildred and Edward Macik of Silvia, Nebraska; daughter-in-law Darlene Miljush of East Moline, Nebraska; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Julia Vallan, and sons Milo and Stanley Miljush. Services have been held with burial in Graceland Cemetery in Omaha, Nebraska. Contributions may be made in Mrs. Miljush’s name to the American Heart or Cancer Foundations.
