The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ August 23, 1995, p. 2 John Moody of Wickenburg died August 15 at his home in Wickenburg. She was 82. Mr. Moody was born January 17, 1913 in Beckley, West Virginia. He had lived in Arizona for 17 years. Mr. Moody was known as a dear friend to all he met. He was a frequent visitor to the Wise Owl Senior Center. Survivors include a daughter, Debra Cantin of Phoenix; and many friends, including Toma Heath and Mary Bee, both of Wickenburg. He was preceded in death by his wife, June, in 1993. Graveside services were August 17 at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. The Hospice of the Valley Chaplain officiated. Brown’s Wickenburg funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
