Mildred A. Hothem, of Wickenburg, died September 8 in Circle City. She was 74. Mrs. Hothem was born April 10, 1921 in Ohio. She had lived in Arizona for 38 years.
Mrs. Hothem worked at the Valley National Bank in Wickenburg for any years, retiring at age 62. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Wickenburg, a deacon of the church and also the church financial aid. Mrs. Hothem was a member of the B.P.W. in Wickenburg, holding the office of president. She was very dedicated to helping her husband in the Shriners’ Clothe the Child Program.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd, of Wickenburg; sons and daughters-in-law Richard and Nancy of Chico, California and Terry and Sally of Phoenix; brothers Chester and Melvin Thomas, both of Newcomers Town, Ohio; and grandchildren David and Dawna of Chico, California and Erich and Stacey of Phoenix.
Visitation has been held. Services will be Wednesday, September 13 (today) at 10 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church with graveside services to follow at 11 a.m. at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. Pastor James Longstreet will officiate. A luncheon will be held at the church at noon.
