Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Wednesday, March 23, 2011 Rebecca Griego, 87, of Camp Verde, formerly of Flagstaff, died March 20, 2011, in Camp Verde. She was born July 23, 1923, in San Jose, N.M., the daughter of Delfido and Pillar Trujillo. She was a homemaker, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was a longtime resident of Flagstaff before moving to Camp Verde. She had been a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and Flagstaff and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Camp Verde. Her hobbies included cooking, sewing and gardening. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Mrs. Griego is survived by sons Carlos Griego (Frances), Gilbert Griego (Cathy), Eloyed Greigo (Brenda) and Ernie Griego (Doreen); daughter Linda Chavez (Richard); sister Euilia "LaLa" Flores; 19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos, and son Benny. A visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m., at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Camp Verde, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held Friday at the church at 10 a.m. An online guestbook is available at www.westcottfuneralhome.com.
