March 19, 2011, Dianne Margaret Brewer Storm died peacefully in her home with her family and beloved pets surrounding her. She is the youngest daughter of the late Jesse Brewer and the late Lillian O'Brien Brewer.
Dianne was born July 19, 1953, in Tucson, Ariz. She attended Sacred Heart School in Prescott and graduated from Prescott High School in 1971. She was an accomplished artist and businesswoman - she owned Roadrunner Housekeeping for 20 years. She married Jim Storm April 15, 1989. Together they created and developed Prescott Valley Raceway. She was a long time member of Yavapai Cowbelles.
Dianne's loving kindness knew no bounds; she would help anyone or any creature that needed help. She was once featured in a full-page article in the Courier; the reporter ended the article by saying, "We should all wish to come back as an animal in this woman's home." She will be missed by the many people whose path she crossed. Her easy and quick wit, her ever-present smile and ready with praise or a joke for all she knew. She took loving care of her aging parents until their deaths. Though a tiny person, she was the glue that kept the family together.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Storm; brothers William "Bill" Brewer, Richard "Rich" Brewer and Patrick "Pat" Brewer; sister MaryCharlene Brewer Moonis; and nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and great-nephews upon whom she showered unconditional love and attention.
A memorial gathering will be at Hampton Funeral Home Saturday, March 26, 2011, at 1 p.m. to celebrate Dianne's life and to celebrate Dianne's joining with her beloved parents in the peace and hands of our Lord Jesus Christ. All who knew Dianne are welcome to attend.
Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements. Please visit www.hamptonfuneralhome.com to sign Dianne's guestbook.
