Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Published Tuesday, March 22, 2011 - Robert "Bob" Nuss, 72, lost his battle with cancer March 19, 2011 in Chandler, Ariz. He was born Dec. 3, 1938, in Pennsylvania. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Bob retired from the city of Lake Havasu as a mechanic. A member of H.O.R.R.A., and Havasu Boat and Ski Club. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Judy. His daughters, Cindy (Dave) Pratt, Kristy (Tag) Schneider, Robin (Jeff) Carles and Marty Talor; eight grandchildren, Dan, Sarah, Joshua, Randi, Chase, Careese, Erin and Morgan; and a great-granddaughter, Devynn. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Bertha; his sister, Diane; and son-in-law, Steve. Bob was a kind-hearted soul and had an infectious laugh. You never saw him without a smile on his face. He was a devoted husband, father and an even more devoted grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
