Charles Wright Stacy, of Wenden, died August 27 in Wenden. He was 92. He was born August 16, 1903 in Rochester, Montana. He had lived in Arizona for 27 years.
Mr. Stacy met and married his wife, Ione “Micky” Bigelow, in Twin Bridge, Montana in 1928. They later moved to Idaho where he was a gold miner and an avid camper. They were winter visitors from Idaho but had retained their permanent home in Wenden for the past 12 years.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Delores and Bill Schmadeka of Lewiston, Idaho; sons and daughters-in-law Leland and Mona Stacy of Wenden and Elwood and Jean Stacy of Pierce, Idaho; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife in March of 1995; a grandson, Rodney; and his parents.
Graveside services and burial were held in the Wenden Cemetery. Pastor Bill Ussery officiated.
Arrangements were handled by Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home.
