The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ September 27, 1995, p. 2 Luella A. McCurdy, of Salome, died September 21 in Wickenburg. She was 83. Mrs. McCurdy was born September 27, 1911 in South Dakota. She had lived in Arizona for 25 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the good Neighbors of America in Lebanon, Oregon. Mrs. McCurdy is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Carole Blake of Tucson; grandchildren Sofich and Penny Johnson, both of Oregon, and Linette, John, Steve and Tina Marie, all of British Columbia; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister Grace of Oregon; and brother Ralph Marden. Services and interment will be held at a later date in Salome. Contributions may be made in Mrs. McCurdy’s name for the purpose of nursing staff activities to: Wickenburg Hospital Foundation, 520 Rose Lane, Wickenburg, AZ 85390. Arrangements were handled by Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home.
