GORMAN, Edward James


The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ October 4, 1995, p. 2 Edward James Gorman, of Wickenburg, died September 26 in Glendale. He was 69. Mr. Gorman was born March 27, 1926 in Owosso, Michigan. He had lived in Arizona for 2 ½ years. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, and a member of the church’s Perpetual adoration group. Mr. Gorman was a member of American Legion Post No. 0100 in Phoenix and the Wickenburg Country Club. He was also a Navy veteran. Mr. Gorman is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary of Wickenburg; sons and daughter-in-law Tim and Stormy of Houston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law Colleen and Ed Kane of Ukiah, California; daughters Sheila of Chesaning, Michigan, Maureen of Olathe, Kansas and Joe of Chicago, Illinois; sons Terry of Las Vegas, Nevada and Brian and Edward Jr., both of Olathe, Kansas; mother Helen of Wayland, Michigan; sister Judy Becker of Middleville, Michigan; and seven grandchildren. Services have been held with interment in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church columbarium. Fr. John Vogt officiated. Contributions may be made in Mr. Gorman’s name to the United Cerebral Palsy Association, 321 W. Hatcher, Phoenix, AZ 85021 or a charity of one’s choice. All arrangements were handled by Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home.
