FULLER, Mildred Matilda


The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ November 1, 1995, p. 2 Mildred Matilda Fuller, of Prescott, died October 21, in Prescott. She was 84. Mrs. Fuller was born April 29, 1911 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She had lived in Arizona for 29 years, moving here from Nebraska. Mrs. Fuller, because of her husband’s periodic blindness, assumed the duties of the family breadwinner, a role she accepted with grace and understanding. She worked for 17 years as a fourth grade teacher with the Prescott Unified School District. She was also employed for several years by the Los Angeles County as a court reporter. Mrs. Fuller was a graduate of Whittier College in California. Mrs. Fuller is survived by her son Bill R. Fuller of Wickenburg; son and daughter-in-law George G. and Robyn Fuller of Prescott; and grandson Jordan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon W. Fuller, in 1981. A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, November 2 in Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, Cortez at Carleton, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Tom Catlin will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Fuller’s name to Sharlot Hall Museum, Department of Education, 415 W. Gurley St., Prescott, AZ 86301 to help continue the museum’s educational program for Prescott schoolchildren. All arrangements were handled by Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home.
