The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ November 8, 1995, p. 2 Edythe W. Peterson, of Wickenburg, died November 2 in Wickenburg. She was 83. Mrs. Peterson was born October 11, 1912 in Buffalo, Kansas. She lived in Arizona for 18 years, coming from Colorado. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Methodist Church. She was a teacher and acted as an engineering assistant for the husband, Milford. Mrs. Peterson is survived by her husband of 61 years, Milford of Wickenburg; brother, A. D. Irwin of Lakewood, Colorado; grandchildren Gina Adair, Kim Taylor and Gregory Peterson, all of Oregon; five great-grandchildren; and special friend and caregiver, Toni Finegan of Wickenburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lutisha Irwin, and son Gene. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Peterson’s name to the Wickenburg Public Library, 164 E. Apache Street, Wickenburg, AZ 85390, or a charity of one’s choice. Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service handled all arrangements.
