The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ November 8, 1995, p. 3 Euzed Elizabeth Johnson, of Wickenburg died November 6 in Wickenburg. She was 87. Mrs. Johnson was born October 15, 1908 in Sargent, Nebraska. She had lived in Arizona for 28 years, coming from Nebraska. Mrs. Johnson was born in a sod house in Loup County, Nebraska. She moved west to Sioux County, Nebraska in 1915. She married Robert g Johnson October 17, 1926 in Morrill. Nebraska. A farmer’s wife, she lived on a farm until the death of her husband in 1953. Mrs. Johnson was active in community affairs and the Project Club. She started what is now the Henry Bible Church in 1945 in Grace Asa. Following Mr. Johnson’s death, she worked at several jobs in Morrill and Henry, Nebraska and Torrington, Wyoming. She moved to Arizona in 1967 where she worked in housekeeping in resorts until her retirement in 1973. Mrs. Johnson was active with senior activities in the Phoenix area before moving to Wickenburg in 1980. Until her health failed, she was very active in the Wickenburg Wise Owl. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Mae Sutton of Wickenburg; sister Eunice Ludden, Iris Rodeman and Gladis Rife, all of Wyoming; brothers Lafe Harris of Idaho and Dale Harris of Montana; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert; daughter Mona Bowlin; sons Richard and Jimmy Johnson; brother Verb Harris. Visitation will be Friday, November 10 at 1 p.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church in Wickenburg. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the church. Pastor Mike Abdollahzabeh will officiate. Graveside services and burial will be Monday, November 13 at 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Pastor Richard Dunn will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Johnson’s name to the Wickenburg Regional Health Care Foundation, Nursing Home Expansion Fun, P. O. Box 1388, Wickenburg, AZ 785358. Frey funeral Home and Cremation Service handled all local arrangements.
