The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 6, 1995, p. 2 Jane I. Edwards, of Wickenburg, died December 2 in Wickenburg. She was 81. Mrs. Edwards was born January 12, 1914 in Needville, Texas. She had lived in Arizona for 73years, coming here from Texas. Mrs. Edwards moved from Needville in 1922 and settled in Duncan, Arizona. She then moved to Wickenburg in 1992. Mrs. Edwards, a homemaker all her life, enjoyed needle work and her dogs, along with hunting and fishing. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Claudia and Tex Hill of Wickenburg, and Patricia and Dr. David Stacy of Mesa; grandchildren Jason E. and Patrick Stacy of Mesa, and Jonathan E. Stacy of the U.S. Navy; nieces Helen, Elsie, Anna Louise, Joyce and Isabel; and nephews Philip, Mack, Jack, Chester, Dick and Bob. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred, in 1989. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Edwards name to charity of one’s choice. Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service handled all the arrangements.
