Anna Toth Paulick, of Wickenburg, died December 14 in Sun City. She was 93. Mrs. Paulick was born September 19, 1902 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She had lived in Wickenburg for 17 years.
Mrs. Paulick lived most of her life in western Pennsylvania, growing up in Donora. She lived for 30 years in the Pittsburgh area before moving to Danville, California in 1963 when her husband retired. The couple lived for 15 years in California before moving to Arizona in 1978.
Mrs. Paulick was a beautician, and owned and operated her own business in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 45 in Pittsburgh, continuing her membership in Post No. 84 of Auburn, Pennsylvania. This is an honorary membership for 61 years. She was also a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters of America and the Legion of Mary. Mrs. Paulick was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons Chapter No. 1940 of Wickenburg. She enjoyed bowling, sewing and crafts.
She is survived by her daughters, Clara P. Bright of Wickenburg and Mary V. Templeton of Concord, California; son Stephen P. Paulick Jr. of Walnut Creek, California; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Stephen P. Paulick Sr., in 1979 and her grandson John Stephen Bright, in 1981.
Visitation, Mass and burial in the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery have been held. Frs. John Vogt and Thomas E. Boyle officiated.
Arrangements were handled by Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home.
