The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 27, 1995, p. 2 Laura D. Bentrup, of Wickenburg, died December 21 in Wickenburg. She was 86. Mrs. Bentrup was born January 19, 1909 in Riceville, Iowa. She had lived in Arizona for 25 years. Mrs. Bentrup was a retired nurse, moving to Arizona after 35 years of nursing in California. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, being very involved with all her family. Mrs. Bentrup is survived by her daughter, Barbara Murphy of California; son Robert of Wickenburg; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Enno, in 1988. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 27 (today) at 10 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Pastor Ed Wessling will officiate. Burial will be in the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home.
