The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 14, 1998, p. 3 & p. 4 Rolston (Rolly) W. Topping of Wickenburg died January 6 in Sun City. He was 78. Mr. Topping was born December 22, 1919 in Portland, Oregon. He had lived in Arizona for the past two years, coming from Washington state. Mr. Topping was educated at Sanford University, graduating in 1941 (mechanical engineer). He was a Fuller Brush dealer for the past 35 years. Mr. Topping acquired Eagle status in the Sea Scouts, and his passion was golf and flying. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Munden-Topping of Wickenburg; brother and wife Jim and Diane Topping; daughter Jan Phillips; daughters and husbands Candi and Bill McKay and Beverly and Tom Naso; and grandsons Mike Von Rosen, Steve and Chris Brunell and Brad McKay. He was preceded in death by his first wife Alice, daughter Patricia Brunell, and granddaughter Heather McKay. Services have been held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, research.
