Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Thursday, March 24, 2011 Billie Carlson, 74, died Monday, March 21, 2011, in Phoenix. He was born July 4, 1936, in Tolani Lake; his Maternal Clan was Tangle Clan, and Paternal Clan was Red Streak into the Water. He liked to be with his grandchildren, take care of his livestock, sing and dance and attend church. Mr. Carlson is survived by daughters Priscilla, Mabel, Ernestine and Virginia; stepdaughter Rosita Nelson; sons Jason, Carl and Jamison; 30 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Carlson, and his parents. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. (DST) at First Presbyterian Church in Leupp, followed by burial in Cemetery.
