Mr. James "Alan" Davis, 62, of Snowflake died March 20, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born May 26, 1948 in Newark, NJ, to the late James and Clare Davis. In 1972, Alan married Marie Rathbun of Sayreville, New Jersey and raised five daughters in South Brunswick, New Jersey prior to moving to Snowflake in 2004.
Alan was a journeyman with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 164 for 35 years; an active member for the Middlesex County 4-H for 16 years; and a past National Vice Commander and Past Department Commander of the Sons of the American Legion.
Alan is survived by his wife, Marie of Snowflake; brother Jay of Marlton, New Jersey; five daughters, Vickie Lindlar of Keansburg, New Jersey, Kelly Errico of Winchester, Mass., Sara Davis of Surprise,, Katie Davis of Palm Bay, Fla., Teri Davis of Woburn, Mass.; and six grandchildren: Tiffani and Daniel Lindlar, Ethan and Ean Errico, Braden Donahue, and Anthony Vasko.
Private services are planned.
Memorial contributions, in John's name, to the White Mountain Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1975, Lakeside, Arizona 85929 have been suggested by his family.
