He had lived in Arizona for the past three years, coming here from Michigan. Survivors include his wife, Claudia, of Congress; daughter Lindy Brown of Pensacola, Florida; sons Pat and Mike McDonald; brother, Jeff McDonald; father Art McDonald of Pentwater, Michigan; and many grandchildren. Private services have been held.
