HOBIN, Bill

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ February 18, 1998, p. 2 Bill Hobin of Tucson and formerly a longtime resident of Wickenburg, died February 15 in Tucson. He was 74. Mr. Hobin was born November 12, 1923 in Evanston, Illinois. Mr. Hobin enjoyed a successful career in television as a producer-director, pioneering many new ideas in the early years of the medium. He directed over 1,100 TV network shows. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Bets; a daughter, Candace Laing of Bermuda; and a son, Chuck Hobin of Santa Barbara, California. There will be no services.
