WILSON, Clead E.


The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ February 18, 1998, p. 3; March 4, p. 3 & March 11, p. 16 Clead E. Wilson of Wickenburg, died February 8 in Sun City West. He was 82. Mr. Wilson was born August 28, 1915 in Thompson, Missouri. He had lived in Arizona for the past 28 years. Mr. Wilson spent many years in Alaska, where he owned a business in Cordova, prior to moving to Arizona. He was a veteran of the U.S. Naval Service, having served in World War II and was proud of his military service. He also was a long-time member of the Masons and the VFW. Mr. Wilson is survived by his daughter Linda Caron of Washington; step-daughter Judy Dansbee of Arizona; step-son Nollie Bentley of Texas; brothers Archie of California and Alvin and Ted of Missouri; and sisters, Mary of Tennessee and Ruth of Colorado. Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by his son Jim in 1970; his loving and caring first wife Louise in 1977; his grandson Brain in 1985; his cherished wife and companion Mollie in 1992. A graveside tribute will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 10 in the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. Pastor Ed Wessling will officiate.
