The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ February 25, 1998, p. 2 Walter H. Marting of Dallas, Texas and a former longtime resident of Wickenburg, died February 18 in Dallas. He was 88. Mr. Marting was born May 6, 1909 in Chicago, Illinois and had lived in Wickenburg for 27 years before moving to Texas. He was a former member of Redeemer Lutheran Church of Wickenburg. Survivors include three children, Barbara Rietveld of Chicago Heights, Illinois, Neil W. Marting of Dallas and Judy Tomlinson of Carrollton, Texas; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Honey (nee Weitemeyer) in December 1979, and by his second wife, Ethel (nee Friel) in June 1991. Services have been held.
