GILLESPIE, Beatrice E. (Bee)

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 4, 1998, p. 2, 6 & March 11, p. 16 Beatrice E. “Bee” Gillespie of Wickenburg died February 26 in Sun City. She was 74. Mrs. Gillespie was born March 4, 1923 in Stickney, South Dakota. She had lived in Arizona for the past 12 years, coming from Wyoming. Mrs. Gillespie was the past manager of the Garden City Resort and a member of the Desert Caballeros Western Museum. Survivors include her daughters Donna of California, Sharon of Texas and Kay of Texas; sons Mike of Circle City, Dick of California, Ron of Glendale and Terry of Glendale; sister Clara of Wickenburg; brother Steven of Wyoming; grandchildren Jodie, Hollie, Russ, Randy, Denise, Johnathan, David, Linda, Rachelle, Dickie, Julie, Shelley, Chad, Amy ,Mark, Chris, and Chris; and great-grandchildren Ryan, Taylor, Adam, Taran, Skyer, Kolby, Riley, Michael, and Mackenzie. She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley and her mother Mable. Services were held Monday, March 12 at 11 a.m. at Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service following visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with Pastor Mike Abdollahzadeh officiating. Contributions may be made in Mrs. Gillespie’s name to the American Heart Association, Arizona Affiliate, 2929 S. 48th St., Tempe, AZ 85282-3145. Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Wickenburg handled the arrangements.
