The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 4, 1998, p. 2 Mary “Cricket” Pruett of Wickenburg, died February 24 in Wickenburg. She was 54. Mrs. Pruett was born February 1, 1944 in Mesa. She had lived in Arizona almost all of her life, moving back to the state at age 4 from Nevada. Survivors include her daughters Paula Hughes of Wickenburg, Carrie Pruett, and Norma Pruett-Smith; sons Johnnie, Mike, and James Pruett; sister, Ella McKinney; two brothers, Thomas and Buddie Brummett; and 18 grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Wittmann Cemetery.
